Antique Wedding Cake Toppers

On my travels this past weekend as a destination wedding photographer , I was in Atlanta I met some great people, no more so than Sussanne Hudson and Jeri Farmer at Le Jardin Blanc in Douglasville Ga. Susanne Hudson had the most amazing collection of Wedding Cake toppers.

Wedding Day

I have just had a fantastic four days in Atlanta shooting a pilot for new TV show for Mark Burnett Productions and Dreamworks called 'Wedding Day'. It really was a unique experience and met and I worked with some really talented great people, it was a lot of fun . I wont say no more, than watch out for this show its going to be great.

A friend of mine blogged a photo of David Attenborough, which reminded me of a photograph I had taken of his brother.. and in that search the photo above it was Ian Mackellan ... Sir Ian and Sir Richard

Bride of the year

Sorry I made a mistake ... my daughter Elle told me that the San Francisco wedding shot was'nt my greatest photo, she reminded me on one of my older websites I had said this was the best of all time, taken on my 10th wedding anniversary, Elle wearing my wifes wedding dress and jewelry ... she is of course right ! ... daughters always are.

BRIDES magazine Tuscany feature

1st Ever Wedding

.... I had a photo shoot in London this week and in the evening met up with some great DWF wedding photographers we spoke about how long we had been shooting weddings ... I had to think wow it was a year before I got married 1990 I have been photographing weddings for 18 years 'OMG' ! I remember driving along 4th st on the bridge at Ocean Park Blvd in Santa Monica in my CJ5 Jeep .. ( that had my logo on the wheel over) ... a girl pulled along side asked did I photograph weddings .. I said 'no' .. then I said ' wait a minute I need to talk to you ' ... I explained I was getting married the next year I needed to photograph a couple with what i wanted ... they saw all my fashion and celebrity work .. and told them I want to photograph there wedding in a style of an MTV video ( yes there was MTV in 1990 ) because thats how I wanted mine photographed. So here are the shots from that day at Pepperdine in Malibu ... I still love the shot on the right and still use it in my ads ... sadly I cant remember the couples names and they have the negatives .. anyone know them ? .. they lived in Venice but I think they moved to Seattle the guys name could be Greg.
